Business Executive Advisory Council
The Business Executive Advisory Council (BEAC) supports the College of Business in achieving its vision and continuously improving educational quality.
The BEAC represents stakeholders who have an interest in the College of Business at Alfred University as alumni, prospective employers, and members of the regional and national business community. The BEAC provides counsel to the administrators, faculty, and students in the College of Business through program review and strategic planning processes. Advice and consultation are provided on issues related to mission, educational objectives, curriculum design, mentoring of students, intern and externships, project development, and strategic planning and management. BEAC members continually support the initiatives of the College of Business by sharing professional contacts and resources, and mentoring students for internships or employment.
Membership of the BEAC is composed of the Dean of the College of Business and 6-10 members of the business community. The members have first-hand knowledge of the business marketplace and share a commitment to business education.
