Fall Applications

  • Regular decision deadline - July 1

Spring Applications

  • Regular decision deadline - December 1

Should I Follow the Transfer Application Process?

You should follow the transfer application process at Alfred University if you have:

  • Completed/attempted credit hours at an accredited college or university as a matriculated student after completing your high school degree or equivalent 
  • Achieved a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, and 
  • Demonstrated good social standing at your previous institution 
  •

Articulation, Cooperative & Early Acceptance Agreements

Articulation and cooperative agreements are formal partnerships established between two institutions of higher learning that provide students a clear path for transferring into specific degree or advanced academic programs. The agreements clearly define the policies and procedures for maintaining the appropriate curriculum for achieving your desired outcome.

Transfer vs. Readmission

You should only apply as a transfer student if you meet the criteria above. If you don't meet the criteria above and attended AU in the past, have completed/attempted credit hours at an accredited college or university elsewhere, and are now interested in returning to AU, please follow the readmission application process.
